Internet Safety
Welcome

Welcome to the Internet Safety Public Forum at WebChamber.com.

Everyone knows there are all kinds of threats that faces business and individuals on the Internet.  You've probably heard terms like Identity Theft, Spyware, Viruses, Hacking, and more.  Are you also aware of Shoulder Surfing, Social Engineering, Phishing, and Pharming?  How about Back Doors, Malware, Exploits, Denial of Service, and Dumpster Diving?

Clearly there are far too many ways for dishonorable types to feed on those who are not ready for their attacks.  Even those who are ready have to remain every diligent at staying ahead of the thieves.

WebChamber.com has setup this forum to help you stay ahead of the curve.  Fortunately, armed with a little knowledge, good tools, good habits, you're going to be far less likely to become the victim of Internet crime.

Be sure to check out our Blog where we will be posting about the different types of threats, best practices at protecting yourself, recommended tools, and other information we hope will be helpful.  Visit our Discussion Boards to discuss these issues.  And, of course, please Contact Us if you would like to contribute or to request that we address specific topics of interest to you.
